Notarization is sometimes required as the first step in the authentication process, depending on the requirements of your destination country. In these cases, your documents must be authorized by a certified notary public before Global Affairs Canada accepts them.

If you are unable to attend our offices, our Notaries can process your documents required in conjunction with a criminal background check for use in Canada, or abroad. Once your order is placed you will receive detailed instructions and be well on your way!
